It had been a long night, her body was sore from sleeping on the cold ground of the Church. She was given one blanket and that was it for the night. Spending 12 hours on a cold ground with nothing but a thin blanket was not the best, but it had to do. It was the only place she felt safe enough to close her eyes and actually sleep. Gaia would be there if she needed, but she didn't like to rely on her spirit. With a yawn, Alec stood up, pulling on her brown jacket and running her fingers through her shoulder length dirty blond hair and rolled the blanket up before placing it on one of the pews.
Pushing the doors open, Alec stood in the morning sun, the bright globe in the sky illuminated everything, there were no white fluffy clouds in the light blue sky. Putting her hands on her hips, Alec glanced around before hearing the voice of her beloved Gaia. "Careful, someones going to approach." With that in mind, Alec nodded, ready for anything that would come her way. As a blessed one with nature, she was very rarely picked on.

The rain had stopped finally and Taj needed more supplies for her house. Such as food and new blankets. So taking it upon herself to face the town she stepped out of her dark and murky apartment and stepped out onto the streets. The sun gleaming in her eyes making her squint. She didnt bother to grab her sunglasses out of her pocket though, her arms crossing themselves over her chest as usual. Her feet taking steps towards the local church. Her guards up and looking around her, sensing for any danger or creatures to play with.
She rounded the corner to the Church. Stop..Be careful my pretty, there is something that may be a threat to you near by.. Taj nodded to herself as she let her hair cover his mark as she began to walk again, looking down on the floor to make sure there was ground beneath her and not just concrete. Keep up your guard... Taj stopped infront of the church and she let her jaw tighten as her eyes laid upon another female looking up into the sun.

"I can sense her. I'm going to use a shield. She doesn't feel friendly." Gaia had spoken again and again Alec nodded. She was quite amused, her birth name was Gaia and her spirit was also named Gaia. That always brought a smile to her soft lips but that smiled faded as she looked ahead, the striking figure in front of her. It looked just like her! Was this a trick, a mirror, a spell? Alec muttered a few words, bringing up a few vines that crawled around her legs. If she needed to, she would disappear. As she felt the shield go up, Alec felt a little safer, but there would be those that could break the spell.
"Who are you?" Alec gripped her hips tighter, not wanting to fight, but she was very wary. She stood very still as if afraid moving would make the other woman attack, so being still was what she did. "Can you get a read?" Alec asked yet Gaia was pretty quiet. That normally meant something bad, but what, Alec had no clue. "Gaia come on!" Alec shook her head, her dirty blond hair occasionally got into her green eyes.

After Taj got the sun out of her eyes she laid eyes on the other girl. And she was a splitting image of herself. What! Taj thought to herself. How could this be! Her guard went up straight away, she wasnt going to let this..thing, what ever it was hurt her or get to her. Taj noticed she was standing on a patch of concrete so she took one step to the right to get onto the sandy ground. That was why Taj liked it here in Ravenscroft. The ground here was sand and dirt which was what she loved. It was Sasakuria. Her protector and friend.
Taj felt the sand wrap itself around the arches of her feet and around her ankles as a good way to get out of the fight if her opponant was too strong. Which is what she could sense now. This girl seemed strong. Just as strong as herself and it scaried her alittle but she wouldnt let it show, especially infront of Sasakuria. Taj didnt move, her eyes fixated on the girl infront of her and listening to her words. Taj opened her mouth. "Before My name is spoken...Who are you?"

The voice, it was familiar. "You think shes from that dream?" Alec wondered, and again Gaia was silent which was really starting to get onto her nerves. As the vines began to wrap themselves around her arms, Alec heard the woman speak and move over to where sand was. "My birth name is Gaia, but I go by the name of Alec." Alec replied, still on her guard. There was something strange in the air, and Alec was ready to run. The woman was strong and Gaia was a little bit skittish. If only Gaia would speak, but nothing came. And it was this that made her take a few steps back and keep her eyes upon Taj, not wanting to get attacked and lose any focus.
Yes Alec was kind, caring and loving but she was not dumb. She could fight, and would fight, if she had too. So she waited for the other woman to speak, to make the first move. Then, and only then, would Alec move herself. Flight or fight, flee or attack, Alec wasn't sure yet. Only time would tell what she would do.

Taj let the sand wrap itself around her legs now as her eyes turned a light green and a slight wind cause by the sand moving caused her red hair to get brushed out of her eyes to reveal the mark just above her left eye. It ment Sasakuria Of The Sand. She respected her metor he was the only friend she had. "Taj" She spoke as her eyes kept glaring into the other females eyes. She wasnt going to attack first. She never did, she wanted to see what the power of her opponent was before she attacked.
Taj waited for the girls move. She did not however the vines crepping up the girls arms, she seemed to be controling the vines. It was odd. Taj thought she was the only one that had the power to do that. Well Sasakuria had the power to do that anyways. Taj just happily helped along.

Taj. It was like someone had hit her. That name, the dream, it all came back to her. Flashes ran through her mind and she glanced away from Taj for a few seconds, keeping her body standing was getting harder than she thought. Shock ran through her blood and she gasped. Gaia was ready to take over if needed, but Alec didn't want her too. Not yet. "Taj." Alec repeated softly. "Yin and Yang." She was referring to good and evil, and now everything clicked into place. The feeling of being alone, thinking there was something missing. Seeing Taj was like it had snapped something into place.
"Your my sister." Her voice held denial and disbelief, she didn't think she would find her sister so soon. She expected it would take days, hell her backpack in the church was filled with files and records, and she figured she would use them to find her older sister. The evil one. Alec didn't mind or care, this was still her sister, no matter what alliance she was with.

Taj heard her sisters words. It wasnt true she never had a sister. "You lier I never had a sister!" Taj said, her voice snapping. How dare this girl say such a thing. Taj let her arms leave from being crossed to her sides. She bent down and her fingers touched the surface of the sand and it began to rise about waist height as Taj aroze again and her mark on her head glowed a crimson. She was getting angery now which ment the spirit would get angery too.
Taj crossed her arms once again as the sand, when thick enough moved and formed itself behin Taj in a tidle wave like postion, towering over Taj from behind her. It stayed there ready for the other girls attack. Taj's eyes were giving Alec dagers for looks.

"I am not a liar." Alec kept her voice calm, but her anger was rising. "I was declared dead, but was finishing the merge with my spirit." Gaia shared in her feelings, and more vines escaped the earth. They rose behind and beside her, their ends poised and ready to strike. The sharp ends wanted to just stab into Taj, but they wouldn't move unless Alec wanted them too. "I do not lie." Just like Taj had a symbol, Alec had one too. Hers was on her shoulder blade, hidden by her jacket and shirt. "You think I'm lying huh?" A smile was upon her lips, daring Taj to keep thinking that Alec was a liar. Gaia was against what Alec was about to do, but maybe this would prove her truth.
Pulling her jacket and throwing it to the ground, Alec then pulled off her white shirt and turned around. The mark was shining clearly on her shoulder, indicating that Gaia wasn't dormant. "If you don't believe me, I don't really care. Theres nothing else I can prove to you. If this doesn't work." Alec shrugged, pulling her shirt back down as the slight winds chilled her skin. She turned back to look at Taj, waiting for her to speak again.

Taj was shocked. This couldnt be! She had a sister!.Taj although shocked didnt let her guard down but instead did the opposite. She began to think about her parents. They hated her so much that they kept from her that she had a sister. A being of blood linked with hers. The thoughts began to anger herself and Sasakuria. The sand roze with every thought that plagued her mind. It now towered as high as the church itself, or higher. The sand pigmants swirling with each other roaring with power. Then Sasakuria attacked.
The sand began to crash down like water crushing towards the other girl, cleaverly dodging Taj herself but slamming right towards Alec. Taj roared to herself as her mark burned her. Sasakuria was pissed and she respected him for that, she was pissed too. She didnt flinch though, her body shaking slightly with anger.

Taj hadn't spoken, which Alec was not surprised. As she watched Taj, she saw the sand go higher, more higher than the church itself, and was afraid of what might happen. As the sand began to crash down, heading her way, the mark on her shoulder burned as she jumped onto the vines, being rushed higher to avoid the oncoming sand. The first thought was, two can play at that game, and with that in her mind, the earth itself began to move with a violent force. She didn't want to fight but had no choice, so she would fight. Hopefully this would not be a mistake.
"Gaia. Shes evil, I know that. But how do I stop her attacks? Its sand, and I'm earth." Alec bit her lip as Gaia finally spoke. "Sand and earth, they are the same, yet different. Stronger together, weaker apart." Alec rolled her eyes. "So not wanting a cryptic clue!" Alec said frustrated. She looked at Taj as the vines acted like a surfboard and she was getting closer to Taj with each second.
(hope you don't mind I added that bit with Gaia. I was thinking, maybe their powers can act like healing agents towards one another, and one sister gets hurt, the other heals? maybe that could be the start of their bond?))

Taj was shocked as she saw her sister ride the waves of sand. "What!" Taj growled to herself as she let her arms fall to her sides as her arms raised up and she pulled her arms towards herself and the sand came rushing back and went to hit Alec in the back. She was panicing. No-one had ever gotten this close to her before. Taj didnt know what to do, so she left Sasakuria take over. The mark on her forehead began to burn as her eyes sheilded over a Sasakuria took over.
Sasakuria smirked as her hands clasped together in a violent clap and the sand hit Alec hard in the back.
(sure that sounds cool! ^^)

The were equal in strength, and just as Alec was about to launch a more forceful attack, she was hit in the back with a powerful sand blast. With a yell, Alec was knocked off her vines and headed straight for the ground. As she landed, quite hard upon the stone, her body began to hurt as cuts line her arms, legs and other parts of her body, and bruises appeared as well. The hit wasn't enough to kill her, but to hurt her badly. "Shes stronger." Alec told Gaia, and knew that if Taj wanted to kill her, Taj would be able to. Since Taj was older, she was slightly stronger, and that meant bad news for the younger twin.
Struggling to get up, Alec trembled and fell back. She should let Gaia out, she knew it. But she didn't, and Alec had no idea why. Maybe it was because she had been beaten, she wanted to finish this as Alec, not as Gaia.

Sasakuria saw the other girl fall to the ground and she smirked, her eyes glazed over as her hands were strong and the sand aroze around Alec in a sort of tornado like way. It was her sand coffin power, and Taj hadnt even seen it yet, only that once back in primary school but that was only a pathetic boy. Sasakuria's eyes clouded over more as they changed to her flurescent green. Taj opened her mouth. But it wasnt her voice that spoke it was Sasakuria's. "I'll kill you"
But as soon as Sasakuria went to clasp her fists together to wrap Alec in a coffin of sand to kill her, her mark began to burn painfully. "Argh!" Sasakuria yelled as she let down her concentration and the sand fell back down to the ground as she brang her hand to her mark. Sasakuria let Taj take over again. Taj gripped her forehead, she was in pain. She had never felt anything like it.

Alec smirked as the sand went around her like a tornado, her body ready for anything that would happen. Sure enough, when the words 'I'll kill you' were spoken, Alec felt a little smug since she was right after all. Gaia was trying hard to escape but Alec held her back, it would do no good if Gaia was killed. So Alec kept her in, but it was hard. It went against what Gaia was, what she believed in. "Gaia. I got us into this." Was all Alec spoke to her spirit friend. "Then kill me." Alec looked up, but something odd had happened, something she did not expect.
She wasn't in pain anymore, but Taj was. Her wounds were healing, the cuts and bruises were fading. As she stood on shaky legs, Alec looked at her mark free body. Questions swirled in her mind, but she didn't dwell on them. Her sister was in pain, and she was going to help. "Gaia, goddess of earth, drain away the pain, let her be free." Alec spoke, hoping this would at least rid the pain that was hurting Taj.
